♫ GONGS – Andres Põhjala and Meelis Kajandu

If you feel that you need a pause and a moment for yourself,
then this is a good place to start! 😇

✨JOY OF LIFE✨ is a 2.5-hour playful and meditative gong journey where you can give your body and mind a restful pause.

Life does not have to be serious all the time.

Joy of life is not something you have to somehow invent.
It is something that already exists within you.
It is the same light, playful, and genuine feeling
with which we come into this world.
Sometimes it simply gets buried under other responsibilities.
Here is an invitation to a gong journey with a focus on joy of life!
We find the way back to our joy not through effort, but through relaxation.
Through sounds, vibrations, and simply being.
Sometimes it is enough to take time out, lie down, and let the sounds simply carry you.

The deep and multilayered sounds of the gongs help to:

  • reduce tension and stress
  • calm the mind
  • support deeper relaxation
  • restore energy

This is not complicated and requires no previous experience.
You do not have to know or be able to do anything.
Simply come, make yourself comfortable, and let the sounds do their work.

The evening is created by two men who enjoy playing with different instruments and sounds.
The aim is to create a space where it is easy simply to be.

NB! Buy a friend ticket here!

THE SPACE IS CREATED BY:

Andres Põhjala
Transpersonal psychotherapist, sound therapist, and hypnotherapist in private practice: Põhjala Therapy.
Andres found his way to gongs through personal experience – while looking for a way to move out of anxiety and find more peace. He discovered healing in the gongs: simply lie down and, in a relaxed state of mind, allow your body’s self-healing ability to activate. Restore the connection with childlike joy, see new possibilities as an observer, and discover new choices.
Andres specialises in working with people suffering from codependency and addiction. However, he also works with people facing other difficult life situations and guides them through psychological twists and turns towards self-awareness and healing.

Meelis Kajandu
Meelis’s journey to the gongs began through close contact with them 6 years ago. This brought with it a feeling of lightness and joy. Every playing experience is expansive and always different. Sometimes he experiences visuals, patterns, and colours, and each time, in addition to sounds and vibrations, something mystical as well.
Meelis is characterised by playfulness. Alongside the gongs, he also uses other instruments, creating a diverse and lively sound space.
Meelis enjoys creating a supportive environment where it is easy for people to be, relax, and experience something new without pressure.

NB: Contraindications for the gong journey:
◦ Severe tinnitus or hearing disorders – Intensive sound therapy may irritate or worsen hearing problems.
◦ Psychiatric conditions – Post-traumatic conditions or other mental health disorders may make the sounds anxiety-inducing.
◦ Epilepsy – Rhythmic and strong sounds may trigger an epileptic seizure.
◦ Recent trauma – Fresh traumatic experiences may increase the risk of emotional reactions.
◦ High-risk pregnancy – Although generally safe, caution should be exercised in the case of a high-risk pregnancy.
Important: If you have been diagnosed with any health condition, consult the organiser or your physician before participating.
