FAQ
- How much time should we plan to spend on site?
It depends on your wishes and choices – enjoying the tulip fields takes at least 1 hour. Special photo corridors have been left between the flower beds, so you should also allow time for photo sessions. Kirna Manor Café offers pleasant refreshments on the sunny terrace. People often then wish to stay and recharge at the energy spots in Kirna Manor Park.
- We have not visited Kirna Manor before and would also like to experience the famous healing benches of Kirna Manor during our visit to the tulip fields.
Yes, this is possible, but the experience may be rather modest, because during the tulip blooming period there may be many people around the benches at the same time (especially on weekends), and sensing the energies may be a challenge :). There may also be queues at some benches. We recommend coming to experience Kirna Manor’s healing benches in summer, after the tulip season has ended. If you wish, you can also book a personal guided visit in the park.
- Can we come to see the tulips with dogs?
Out of respect for other visitors to the park, preferably not, but if you truly have nowhere to leave your pet and the dog behaves politely, you may bring it along on a short leash. It is important that the dog does not go between the flower beds, and you must always clean up after it.
- When is the best time to visit the tulip fields?
Tulips grow in natural conditions in Kirna Manor Park and usually bloom in mid-May. You can find up-to-date information about the tulips blooming on the Kirna Manor Facebook page. On the third and fourth weekends of May, there are usually a great many visitors in the manor park. Visiting the tulip fields on weekdays offers somewhat more privacy. During the summer season, Kirna Manor is the most visited attraction in Järvamaa!
