Tõnis shares his thoughts on the new album “Ajapendel”:
“The idea for the new album came partly from a dream-like realization. I sensed that in the Universe, there was this enormous, stretched-out balloon, filled with many different stones. These stones are us – sharp, smooth, rough, beautiful… This plastic or balloon swings back and forth. Slowly. 50 years one way, half a century the other. And like when you’re on a swing, before it swings the other way, it stops for a moment… And all the stones – the people – are tangled together. It’s uncomfortable, unbearable, but then the pendulum moves on…”
